A series of mobile banking capabilities is available for members of The Summit Federal Credit Union.

The Monroe County credit union, which operates three offices in the Greater Buffalo region, introduced its mobile services package this month. Three main products are available:

• Mobile Web banking, in which Summit members can access account information, pay bills and transfer funds from their cell phones.

• A mobile banking app that members can download and use to obtain account information from any iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Android.

• Text messaging for access to instant account information.

Members must sign up for Internet banking to use the mobile services, the credit union said. All services are free.

The Summit FCU is the seventh-largest credit union in Western New York. It has 8,400-plus members and $71 million in assets in Erie and Niagara counties.
