The former home of the Variety Club of Buffalo has been acquired by a suburban law firm that plans on moving to downtown Buffalo.

Vinal & Vinal, a husband-and-wife team of Greg and Jeanne Vinal, acquired the Variety Club's building at 193 Delaware Ave. According to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office, the firm paid $275,000 for the building. It had been owned by Children's Rehabilitation Foundation of Variety Club of Buffalo Inc., the club's formal name.

Vinal & Vinal expects to move offices from Harlem Road to Delaware Avenue in October.

Earlier this month, the Variety Club paid $375,000 to purchase the former Knights of Columbus hall on Broadway in Lancaster. It moved to its new home last week.
