Vicky-Marie Brunette was named deputy general counsel for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.
The North Buffalo resident, 44, has been with the NFTA since 1994. She served as acting general counsel after David Gregory retired until David State was named to the position.
"In addition to handling her current litigation caseload, Brunette will perform general counsel duties in my absence and play a significant role in implementing compliance initiatives being deployed by the authority," State said.
She received an undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher College and a law degree from Cleveland-Marshal College of Law in Cleveland.
