Phillips Lytle LLP has decided where to move its downtown office.

The one in Jamestown, not Buffalo.

The law firm relocated the office to the BWB Building on West Third Street, leasing 3,000 square feet in the two-year-old building. The firm was previously located on East Third Street.

BWB is the newest office building in downtown Jamestown.

Phillips Lytle has been in Jamestown since 1978 when it acquired the then-Cadwell & Sharpe law firm. The Jamestown office was its first outside of Buffalo and currently includes three partners and 10 staff members.

"We have been a part of the fabric of the Southern Tier for more than 30 years, and our move to the BWB reaffirms our intention to continue that tradition," said Gregory Peterson, Phillips Lytle partner and Jamestown office leader.

The BWB Building was jointly developed by the CPA firm of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro P.C. and The Krog Corp. The Buffamante firm anchors the building.
