A new strategic alliance will allow Lawley Insurance to expand its loss-control business.

The company formed the alliance with Great Lakes Environmental and Safety Consultants Inc., giving Lawley customers a larger menu of safety and environmental services and expanding its loss-control/prevention capabilities.

Great Lakes Environmental, founded in 1994, provides proactive safety, environmental and risk-management solutions. Evan Casey, president and CEO, brings a team of 17 professionals providing environmental, safety, and hygiene services for the construction, industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Lawley has provided similar services to its customers for 12 years through its risk-management department. Managing Partner Christopher Ross said in a release that all of its offices across the state will benefit from the alliance.

"The strategic alliance will bring a more intense, diversified, in-depth level of loss control to our customers," he said.

The company continues to seek partners and new alliances, he added.
