Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has been rated the top corporate law firm in the country for the ninth consecutive year. The New York City-based law firm was ranked highest by both company directors and general counsel in the annual America's Best Corporate Law Firms survey conducted by Corporate Board Member and FTI Consulting Inc..

Cleveland-based Jones Day moved from the No. 7 spot last year to No. 2. Los Angeles-based Gibson Dunn & Crutcher moved up six spots to No. 7, and Houston-based Fulbright & Jaworski jumped seven spots to the No. 10 position.

Joining the Best Corporate list for the first time were 15th-ranked Sidley Austin, based in Chicago and New York, and New York's Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson, at No. 20.
