Litigation-support services company Ivize LLC has acquired Rochester-based DocuLegal LLC and its subsidiary D4 LLC.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Ivize now has more than 30 locations. Its services include consulting, data collection and computer forensics, processing of electronically stored information (ESI) and hosting for online review.

According to a press release, DocuLegal's offices will remain under the management of existing leadership, and all current employees will remain with D4. John Holland, former CEO of DocuLegal, will join Ivize as a senior vice president.

"We are now in the unique position to offer exceptional expertise and fully integrated project management throughout the entire litigation life cycle," Joel Milne, Ivize CEO, said in the press release.

DocuLegal and D4 also have offices in Buffalo and New York City. All locations will continue to operate under the DocuLegal and D4 names.
